DO YOU TAKE WETSUIT TRADE-INS?

Within certain limits, Yes!

We take second hand junior wetsuits from the brands we are familiar with and are in reasonable condition.  Wetsuits must be clean and dry before being brought to the shop for trade-in or reselling.
The brands we trust are : Alder, C-Skins, Billabong, Rip Curl, Roxy, Quiksilver, O'Neil, Xcel and Patagonia amongst others.

Junior suits we will not accept for trade-in: anything from a non-surf brand, brands whose sizing is inconsistent, brands whose quality is inconsistent.

Brands we will not accept for trade-in include but are not limited to: Hot Tuna, Dunnes Store, Pennys, Lidl, aldi, Decathlon, Port west, Swarm, etc.

Reasonable condition means the suit should still be in working order, with fully functional zippers and no holes, as well as clean and dry. The condition of the suit will determine its trade-in value.

If the suit is one you want to sell on but we don't take as trade in you have the option to put your own price on it from which we will take 15% commission. We are honest with our customers so if we feel the suit is in poor condition we will say so.
Please do not ask us to predict the trade in value of a new suit that you purchase as there are no guarantees before we see it, no matter what condition the suit is in.

New wetsuit pricing may change, demand for second hand suits may lessen, we may have excess stock of either new or second hand wetsuits.

All of these factors come into play when determining a trade-in value in addition to the condition of the actual suit.

We do not take adult wetsuits as trade-ins as these are generally in much poorer condition and the technology/design of these suits changes faster than the junior wetsuits.

Also some adult suits can look perfect but have lost integrity on the seams, we have seen this with our own wetsuits. However you can sell an adult wetsuit through the shop at 15% comission.
