Stock Notifications
Will you call if xyz comes into stock
Unfortunately we can not commit to call everyone that asks for us to do so, instead we have a mechanism on our website that is far more reliable than our dodgy memories!
For any item listed on our website you will see a stock level as highlighted below
If the product you want is out of stock you will see this on the listing
For a product that has multiple sizes/styles/colours you will see drop down boxes as shown in the first picture above, pick the particular size/style/colour you want and then click on "Notify Me"
This will launch a new box to fill out your details, see picture below
Fill out the name and e-mail boxes, click on the consent box and then click on "confirm".
This will set our system to send you an e-mail as soon as we log the product into stock.
Which products does this work best for?
The auto notifications work best for products that we stock all the time, e.g. wetsuits from Alder or C-Skins, our own brand clothing.
The main brands whose products remain reasonably consistent from year to year are: Alder, Bulldog, C-Skins, Cortez, Global, Lahinch Surf Shop and Sex Wax.
Alder and C-Skins maintain their product names from year to year so their ranges of Wetsuits and Accessories remain on our website even when out of stock.
Our own Lahinch Surf Shop t-shirts and hoodies are also regularly re-stocked but most other apparel changes from season to season.
We try to check the web listings weekly to remove products that have gone out of stock and won't be restocked, and also add new products at the same time.
Which product notifications should not be used?
Generally speaking most of the third party clothing range is not re-stocked. Some items repeat from season to season but the colours change regularly.
We advise against using the notification option on products from: Billabong, Oxbow, Protest, Roxy, Rip Curl and Saltrock.
You should also be aware that Billabong, Roxy and Rip Curl change the colours on their wetsuits and often change the related product codes which would mean new stock of those items would also have a new product listing.
